Questions about Frankenstein.

Was Victor skitzophernic?
He seems to talk to himself in that sort of way.

How did the monster actually learn how to speak so articulatly and good? Really?

Did Elizabeth even want to marry Victor?

Could Victor have done more to prevent his family from being murdered?

What was Shelly's point of putting Victor in prison twice?

Did the creation understand the seriousness of murder?

Would the female creation have actually loved and wanted to live with the first creation?

How would she even be able to live with such an educated being like the creation?

Frankenstein

The book Frankenstein is way better than I expected. It goes into great detail of nature and things that the characters or Shelly feel are beautiful. Also, it goes deep into the idea of revenge and consequences of actions.
Even though the story seems very far fetched and impossible, many direct parallels can be made to everyday. Victor creates a monster for himself. He indulged all his time into this creation and treasured it. For the longest time he was consumed with the success of his creation, not realizing the effects and consequences he will soon face. Already, the reader can relate this to something he or she is dealing with or someone they know is dealing with. Take drugs for an example. If someone becomes consumed with a drug it takes over his or her life. Nothing else matters. But, some people realize their monsters and confront them. It takes a long time and it is never easy. Victor ran from his fears for so long it was almost impossible for him to face his creation. However, in my mind he overcame his problem, but was left with horrible circumstances. He had lost everyone close to him because of his creation and his decision to end his troubles.
The young Shelly did an amazing job with this novel, and provoked many useful thoughts and emotions for me to think about.

Kush and Orange Juice

kush and orange juice. 4-13-10

Wiz Khalifa's newest mixtape hit the web on April 13th, 2010, or Tuesday at 10:30. Instantly the new mixtape sent the Internet into a frenzy with thousands of downloads. The tag #kushandorangejuice went to the #1 trending topic on Twitter on Tuesday and remained top 10 for the week settling at #6. Also on Tuesday "kush and orange juice downlaod" was the most searched item on Google. I've been listening to Wiz for several months now and knew he would blow up huge sometime or another. I had no clue it'd be this soon though. Just on one website Tuesday, the mixtape got 50,000 downloads, and that wasn't even the link Wiz put out himself. There were several sites to download the mixtape from so the mixtape definately had hundreds of thousands of downloads in a matter of days.
It's been a couple weeks since the amazing mixtape dropped and I've listened to each song at least 15 times. Seems crazy, but the music is just so good I dont want to listen to anything else ta the moment.
My favorite songs are (in no particular order):
Mezmorized
The Kid Frankie
Spotlight
Never Been
In the Cut
Still Blazin
Good Dank
Glass House
Supply
There 20 total tracks but just about every song is my favorite. The mixtape has received good reviews from several sources. Wiz Khalifa has also been in the New York Times since the mixtape dropped, been on MTV.com and MTV news several times, and several other notable websites and media outlets.
