Rajon Rondo
He is arguably the best all-around player on the team this year and postseason. Hes been putting up a double-double just about every single night out. He has already posted a triple-double in game 4 of the Cleveland series scoring 29 points, 18 rebounds and 13 assists. His stats say it all, but he is much better than his stats say. He pushes on fast breaks and nearly always creates a play. He always finds the open man. He presses the defense's weak spots. He has a nose for the ball unlike anyone in the league. His on-ball defense is amazing. And lastly, his leadership has improved greatly, he can run a team, and has great confidence.
Celtics!
Towards the end of the NBA regular season, many questions were brought up about the Boston Celtics. Many people thought they could get beat in the very first round. During the season the team was very inconsistent. They experienced a lot of injuries to key players such as Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and a few others. However, the team is on a tear in the playoffs. They easily swept the first round, and beat the heavy favorite Cleveland Cavaliers led by LeBron James in 6 games. They continue to do the unexpected by taking the first two games from Orlando Magic, who were 8-0 in the playoffs before facing Boston. The Big Three Paul Pierce, Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett are all doing their parts to contribute to the wins. Paul Pierce is at full force driving at defenders pulling up around the free throw line. He is also hitting a large amount of 3s and drawing foul after foul. KG is back, posting hard hitting in the lane jumpers, fade-aways, and 17 footers. Ray Allen is playing like the normal Jesus Shuttlesworth, scoring in every way possible. Layups, dunks, lane jumpers, off-the-dribble shots and 3s. Another huge contributer has been point guard Rajon Rondo. He is arguably the best all-around player on the team this year and postseason. Next year.
Next year won't be much different for me.
I'll be in college, and that part of my life will be different, but I will still be living at home because I'm going to Brescia. I'm playing basketball next year too and I've been playing basketball my whole life. So, there won't be much of a change for me next year.

Impacted
Many people, things and ideas have shaped and impacted me throughout high school. It would be hard to give credit to everything or everyone who have impacted me. But, a few people and things have done the majority of the work. I feel like I have impacted myself more than anything. My junior and senior English teacher Mrs. McDaniel has also impacted me along with my parents and literature.
I know that I have definitely impacted myself the past four years. I’ve never really worked way past my limit on school work by any means. Classes like Math and Science don’t interest me. I work hard enough to get a B average. But for some reason, I’ve always taken pride in my writing. Writing is something I love to do even though I hate to admit it. When I am passionate about something, I invest all I have into it. I’m very passionate about basketball. I try to play all the time and when I play I do my best. I have fun when I’m playing. Art is also very important to me. When I spend time on an artwork, I will not let the slightest detail be left out. I feel the same way about writing. Even if I hate the topic or the guidelines, I have always strived to put together a good piece of writing. This has especially been the case throughout junior and senior years. I never wanted to just be an average student when it came to essays and papers. I want the teacher to read my paper and say, “Yes, this is how a paper should be written.” I don’t do it for anyone else. I don’t do it to suck up to the teacher. It is for my own satisfaction. As you progress in your knowledge and seek to become more intelligent, you develop a sense of self-worth. I’ve always been interested in acquiring more knowledge than I already have. So, I guess you could say the attainment of knowledge has been my driving force.
Literature has played a major role in my maturity as a student and person. Quality literature can teach you many things. I do not enjoy reading, but I have obtained an indescribable amount of knowledge and vocabulary from good books. I learned how to perfect my writing from reading literature. Overall, books, poems and any form of writing have helped to enhance my writing abilities.
I would never have become the student I am without the help of a few people. My parents have always stressed school work and doing my best. They wouldn’t care if I was a C average student. If a C was the best I could get, then they’d push me to get the C. They have always told me to go above and beyond what I am capable of. I am very appreciative to have parents who care about me. Another important person has been Mrs. McDaniel. I had never been too tested as an English student until Mrs. McDaniel’s class. Since the beginning of junior year I have written paper after paper. She taught me how to think for myself. Before her class, students could ask the teacher what to write about and the teacher would pretty much tell them how to do the assignment. She gave me the confidence and help to be able to be an independent student. She prepared me for college. If I can get an A in her class, then I can ace any college course. Plus, she was able to stay on page with her students and have a good time in class.
It is easy to see I have had a lot of help from others in high school. You cannot do everything by yourself. When you have good people around you, becoming the best you can be seems a lot easier.
